We're pretty much at the peak of summer with long warm days, sporadic hatches, and some rewarding but challenging fishing. I am stoked to be seeing more hoppers sailing around in the air mid afternoon when the wind picks up, and other terrestrials like ants / beetles are fishing great right now. Look for tricos in the am, a few scattered pmd’s mid morning, caddis throughout the day, and throw stimmies or tan / yellow hoppers the rest of the time. Plan on wet wading, and get out there and have some fun!
