Fall is in full effect right now, the aspens are lit and big fish are on the move. Weather has been amazing most days, other days it might snow on you. The Upper Owens has kicking out some really nice Brown and Bows if you cover water, and run attractor patterns at the right depth. They’re not everywhere, so keep your eyes peeled as you walk along… If you spot a big fish, approach with stealth. There are usually a few in the run / pool if you sight one. Lower Owens is at great fall /winter wading flows. Still seeing tricos in the AM, scattered caddis, and a decent bwo hatch midday. It’s only going to get better with bigger fish getting more active as fall progresses. Get up here and fish!
