Lots of fun fishing right now! Hot Creek hatches are picking up, female tricos and caddis early, a few pmd’s midday although that hasn’t totally kicked in yet, bwo’s around 1, caddis again in the evening along w/ male tricos. Upper Owens River is seeing a lot of the same bugs coming off, and has a decent streamer bite some days fishing deep under cut banks or in pools. Access to smaller freestone streams and alpine lakes has gotten much better and the fish are hungry. The East Walker has some trophy fish that are super fun to hunt for and and the flows / water temps are good right now. Might not be for long.
